The main house, where a complimentary hearty full breakfast is served, has a wraparound deck, central air conditioning,large picture windows and a fireplace the living room, a formal dining room and three guestrooms. While at Hawk Valley, guests can walk on the property, sit around a bonfire, fish at the pond, or stargaze in the evening. This is a paradise for the birder, artist or author. Besides a complimentary breakfast, coffee, tea, soda and homebaked cookies are offered. The property is handicapped accessible, and on-site spa treatments are available. The inn can also provide wine, flowers, fresh fruit or cheese baskets, dinner or theater tickets, birthday/celebration cake, and trolley or boat cruise reservations. Each luxurious cottage has a king bed, double whirlpool tub, fireplace, full bathroom, satellite television with VCR, fully equipped kitchenette, telephone, eating area, queen sleeper sofa and private porch. The cottages are each distinctive in color and decor, with fluffy towels and comfortable beds to welcome even the weariest guest. Turn right on Julien Dubuque Bridge (US-20) and continue for approximately 12.6 miles. Continue on Franklin Street. Turn left on North Bench Street. Turn right on Meeker Street. Turn left on Claude Street. Claude Street becomes Field Street. Field Street becomes West Stagecoach Trail. Continue for approximately 7.0 miles to West Cording Road. Turn right onto West Cording Road and continue for 1.5 miles to Hawk Valley Retreat & Cottages. Look for the sign at the end of the drive.
